Herman Alfred Sigg was born in 1924 in Zurich, Switzerland and studied at the School of Applied Art in Zurich in 1940s and at the Académie André Lhote in Paris, France. Mr. Sigg’s work spans over 70 years and has been identified with Lyrical Abstraction, Abstract Expressionism, and Color Field painting.
